Vashon Island's Sister City Coffee. We add a handful of these Heirloom®Coffee beans to every one of our blends. The coffee trees of this varietal grow nearly wild in the rich volcanic soil of Guatemala. It is harvested and prepared by descendants of the ancient Mayas. This coffee remains one of the most requested coffees here at the Roasterie because of its outstanding flavor. VARIETAL__DULCE ROAST__DRIP__FRENCH PRESS

Luz Marina Trujillo, is a third generation Columbian coffee grower and lives on Vashon Island. She transports the techniques of her family in Colombia to her own farm in Costa Rica. She is the grower, producer and exporter. This Finca is a combination of intensive shaded coffee, intermixed with an area of natural forest set aside to preserve the water quality. It is done without sacrifice to the environment, using a blend of modern and traditional techniques that will become a model to all industries that rely on a close relationship with the Earth. The queen of the collection, the austere style of St Elena Estate Coffee, is as distinctive, and has a personality as individual as its owner. The cup is light, crisp and refreshing, like the high mountain air of Tarrazu. A soft morning coffee for easy waking that also pairs nicely with evening desesrts.

Rich, complex, Earthy and well balanced. A mysterious deep blend of harmonious overtones created in tribute to the Killer Whale. Admired for their intelligence, hunting prowess, and known for their devotion to family; Killer Whales are celebrated in First Nations’ spirituality, art, and ceremony. A portion of the retail sales of this blend will benefit local programs like the Vashon Hydrophone Project for Puget Sound whale research, which is dedicated to the recovery of endangered local Orcas. An aphrodisiac...we hear. Sweet and chocolaty. We created this exotic, rare bean espresso blend for use in our own coffee house where we make coffee drinks prepared with creative imagination. This unusual combination of organic and traditionally grown beans has moxie. Very popular. Delight in the dark pleasure of our premier coffee blend. Midnight was one of two coffees to choose from when we first started here, and has remained a distinctive and very popular choice. A classic Italian roast. A slightly smoky edge with a buttery chardonnay like richness and subtle hints of cypress.

Roasted to just this side of dark. No bitterness and low in acidity. We get many nice comments on this decaf’s memorable, rich chocolate flavor. You will taste the difference.
